Goedele Vanhille was introduced to clay as a ten year old, studied ceramics in art school, has thrown pots and smashed pots, has built intimate pieces and monumental work, has studied and worked with numerous ceramic artists, has built her own studio, has raw-glazed pots, has subjected pieces to multiple firings, has taught throwing classes and hand building classes, has worked with porcelain, built kilns, fired wood kilns, electric and gas ones too, has salt-glazed pots, slip-trailed pots, glazed pots, has bought pots and sold her own clay work, and still fills the same joy and excitement working with clay as when she first touched the material
