Telluride's own Sasha Golovanenko explores the connections between molecules, the human body, and the cosmos as inspiration for his jewelry line, SASHA by Alexander. He works with precious metals such as sterling silver, gold, and platinum, and his process is a unique combination of the ancient wax-casting technique and modern 3D printing.
Although she has shown her jewelry in Telluride for many years, Petra Class is coming to Telluride for her first in-person trunk show at Slate Gray. A classically trained goldsmith from Germany now based in San Francisco, Petra is known for her contemporary jewelry made of 22k gold and precious gemstones. Her organic design with rough and cut stones creates an understated, refined, and unexpected look.
Mother and son join forces and return to Telluride to feature the latest and greatest designs from their collections. Barbara has an intuitive, meditative approach to design, and her mastery of materials and techniques gives us simply beautiful contemporary jewelry. Timo creates elegant, high quality jewelry through contemporary and traditional goldsmithing techniques.
Lauren Chisholm brings her distinctive æsthetic to precious metals and gemstones offering a modern chic, innovative line of fine art jewelry. The distinguishing elements in her design series are revealed in the details, exhibiting clean lines, scale and her designer's mark, notably Lauren's contrasting 18k gold ball intently incorporated in the design of each piece.
